Pair of English Paktong cast columnar candlesticks, c. 1780
About the Item
Pair of English cast Paktong columnar candlesticks with a gadroon edged square bobesh. The fluted columnar shaft rests on a plinth which is mounted above a sloped base, edged with a gadrooning. Cast in two parts, the base peened to the shaft, and fitted with the separately cast bobesh.
