Pair of English Victorian Period Late 19th Century Sphere Bases Candlesticks

About the Item

A pair of Victorian period wooden candlesticks from the late 19th century, with tubular shaped bobèches and tripartite spherical bases. Created in England during the later years of Queen Victoria's reign in the 19th century, each of this whimsical wooden candlesticks features a nicely curving candle cup sitting above a slender flaring column. The ensemble is resting on three charming and slightly oversized spheres serving as a base. They are petite and their condition is very good, with slight traces of aging. Simple, rustic yet elegant, this pair of English Victorian period turned wooden candlesticks from the late 19th century will bring a charming touch to any home décor, whether placed atop a side table, a chest-of-drawers or a buffet.
