Pair of Italian 19th Century Metal Candlesticks with Silver and Gold Tones

About the Item

A pair of Italian metal candlesticks from the 19th century, with silver and gold tones, very nice authentic aged finish carved foliage and tripartite bases. Created in Italy during the 19th century, each of this pair of candlesticks features a pricket at the top surrounded by an elegant circular pierced gallery. The column below showcases tapering lines and is adorned with elegant carved foliage. This section is resting on a tripartite base carved with campanula style motifs, a guilloche frieze and rais-de-cœurs. Mounted on petite scrolling feet, this pair of Italian metal candlesticks from the 19th century will make for a refined addition to any home, perhaps displayed in a living room on a console table, a commode or a buffet.
