A pair of French giltwood candlesticks from the 19th century, with carved volutes and foliage. Created in France during the 19th century, each of this pair of candlesticks features a delicate décor showcasing foliage and volutes presenting a discreet red undertone. Resting on tripod bases with scrolled feet, the candlesticks are unfinished in the back, a typical trait of such objects meant to be seen from the front.
