Pair of French Gilt and Chased Candlesticks

About the Item

Pair of French gilt and chased candlesticks, these early 19th century sticks are octagonal shaped with all over chasing (or etching) with repetitive designs. They are threaded and will easily screw apart at the base of the shaft. The original gilding is in good condition for their age with wear as shown in the photos and video. They are perfectly straight and solid.
