Pair of French Rococo Revival Cast Brass Candlesticks, c.1890
A well-matched pair of French cast brass candlesticks, dating to around 1890. Designed in the Rococo Revival style, each features scrolling foliate stems rising to petal-shaped drip pans, above boldly cast shell-moulded bases. The casting is of good weight with attractive detail throughout, typical of late 19th-century decorative brassware.
The surfaces have acquired a mellow patina, with gentle wear from handling and use over time. The undersides show oxidation and casting marks, as expected for the period. Overall, they present well as decorative yet functional candlesticks of the era.

Good antique condition. Surface wear, patination, and oxidation to the bases consistent with age. No major losses or repairs.
