A fine pair of large antique English brass candlesticks.
In cast brass.
With stepped bases, pronounced beehive turnings, and faceted knops.
Each marked to the base with an English Registry no. 223580
Simply a wonderful pair of classic antique candlesticks.

Late 19th or Early 20th Century
Overall Condition:
They are in overall good, as-pictured, used estate condition.
Condition Details:
The push up mechanism for one is frozen in place and it lacks its button terminal to that post. Otherwise, there are some minor casting flaws and light edge wear here & there, some spots of persistent oxidation and tarnish, some very light dings and indentations, fine & light surface scratches and other signs of expected light wear consistent with age.
