Storyteller: Mr. Anderson, a successful businessman, and his daughter, Lily, made their home in a stately rural manor. Over the years, Mr. Anderson amassed a collection of rare paintings and priceless vases, which he proudly displayed in his home. Mr. Anderson was perusing an antique shop one day when he stumbled upon a pair of gorgeous French opaline glass lusters. These goblet-shaped lusters were gilded in pink and white-hued glass and hand-made in France between 1850 and 1900. Mr. Anderson bought the lusters without hesitating and carried them home to add to his collection. The moment he set them on the mantel in the living room, they commanded everyone's attention. Pink and white opaline glass sparkled in the sunshine, creating a cozy atmosphere. Like a magnet, Lily was pulled to the lusters and stared at them in awe for hours. She was captivated by the way the light reflected off the glass and highlighted the fine features of the pattern. Seeing her interest, her father proceeded to educate her about the origins of opaline glass and the meaning of its lusters.
