Pair of Sheffield chamber candlesticks by George Richmond Collis, c. 1830

About the Item

Pair of William IV Sheffield plate chamber sticks. The chamber sticks feature a circular reel turned edge to the under dish which is centered on a candle cup with a reel turned edge and attached candle snuffer with further reel turning. The inner rim is engraved with an eagle head with spread wings. Hallmarked on the inside of the lip: GRC Birmingham, England, 1825-35.
