Pair of Wooden Candle Holders by Kaija Aarikka for Aarikka, Finland 1960s. Made of wood and painted in a creamy shade. Aarikka is a famous Finnish home decoration brand, founded by Kaija Aarikka in 1954. Their specialty is the production of wooden interior decor objects and jewelry, with rounded shapes, adorned with wooden beads. Candle holders are one of their most iconic items, for decades now. This pair of candle holders is very representative of their work and is from an early production, around the 1960s. This particular design is no longer produced and is a rare set ! Please Note : minor scratches and patina due to its age and authenticity. Dimensions : Diameter of the base : 8cm Height : 7cm Diameter on top (for placing a candle) : 4cm
