Kerstin Persson "Butterfly" flat weave signed KP Sweden 1970's - 241.5 x 170.5cm This uniquely geometric design is understandably named "Butterfly". Woven at Tre Bäckar in the beginning of the 1970's. Large polychrome geometric patterns. The designers initials K.P. are woven in the bottom corner, signed by Kerestin Persson. Made without fringes. Swedish Flat Weave or "Rollakan" rugs are renowned for their distinctive design and quality. These rugs are are largely hand-woven using traditional techniques and made from natural fibers, such as wool and cotton.
