About the Item

Rare 19th Century Palmer & Company wick candle stand with patented spring mechanism to keep the candle raised at all times. Dismantles as shown for easy loading. Solid brass with original patina that shows well and foliate base. Subtle lines and clean design and scale create gravitas. Leave brass work as is or buff up for high gloss. Either way, this stunning candle stand will impress and hold it's own.
