Handcrafted and highly decorative pair of antique floor candlesticks. These rare and hand forged, 19th century candlesticks will look particularly marvelous in a mediëval or Gothic style interior. They aged beautifully which has given them their rich patina. They are as strong & sturdy as the day they were handcrafted and they will remain that way for many centuries to come, because these were made to last. This pair came from the same home as the stunning 17th century Gothic chests that we posted on 1stdibs last week. You can easily remove the candle wax on the stem and tripod base of the larger one, but we left it there, because we like the look of it. The combination of, for example, an antique chest and these medieval style candlesticks is simply marvelous. The look & feel of such a combination is extraordinary. However, standing by your fireplace or in your entry hall, these timeless antiques will never fail to impress either.
