Rustic, substantial and hanging handmade wooden candelabra which was crafted from solid pine by Smålandsslöjd, Sweden, and designed by Stig Johnson — a celebrated artisan known for his distinctive bowls, candlesticks, and other decorative yet practical items made from heavy wood. This example is a pendant version which features four gracefully proportioned arms, with a form that is simple, honest, and deeply rooted in Scandinavian design traditions. The true beauty lies in the craftsmanship — each section of pine has been seamlessly joined and expertly hand-turned, transforming a functional object into a sculptural work of art. Warm tones and visible grain patterns add to its rustic charm. In excellent vintage condition.
