Stuart Devlin Silver Candlesticks with Gilt Shades - set of 6

About the Item

Set of 6 Stuart Devlin Silver Candlestick bases, with Gilt Shades, each hallmarked underneath, London 1974. Both base and shades are rare triangular style. Three of the candlesticks are 26cm / 10" inches high when base and shades fitted together, and the other three candlesticks are 22cm / 8.5" inches. The total weight of the 6 hallmarked silver bases are 1170g / 41.26 ounces, and the total weight of the 6 Gilt Shades are 1115g / 39.33 ounce.

  • Condition:
    Wear consistent with age and use. Minor fading. As the candlesticks have been used, the gilt shades do have fading especially on the inside ( due to the heat when alight). One of the glass wax candle holders has a crack, and another of the glass wax candle holders is missing the wax candle.
