About

Stamped Albert Paley 2001 on base. Numbered on bottom of each S72-34 and S72-48 from an edition of 50, each one unique within the series.

Albert Paley, America's most important sculptor working in steel, often works at a large-scale, producing public sculptures weighing many tons. However, he continues to enjoy creating pieces for the residential realm, with an intimacy and intricacy which echoes his early career as a jeweler. These candlesticks feature wispy and delicate wraps of steel that seem more spun than fabricated. A lithe and sinuous set for a grand table.
