Unusual Pair of Edwardian Period Neoclassical Style Sterling Silver Candlesticks

About the Item

Unusual short pair of Edwardian Period, Neoclassical-style sterling silver candlesticks, Sheffield, England, year-hallmarked for 1904, Thomas Bradbury and Sons, Ltd. - makers. Each candlestick measures 3 3/4 inches high x 2 1/4 inches wide (at widest point) x 2 1/4 inches deep (at deepest point). Candlesticks are weighted. Each of the four sides of the central column of each candlestick is decorated with a smaller column. Stepped-up base of each candlestick is beaded in design. This beading motif is continued on the edge of each candlestick's candle cup. Underside of each candlestick is covered in green felt. There are some very small dints (see photos) which are commensurate with age and use. Dark areas in photos are reflections. In good antique condition.
