Contemporary Sculpted Green Block & Pearl Candlestick Set by Margit Wittig
By Margit Wittig
Located in London, GB
Margit Wittig has used her sculptural skills to create beautifully-crafted, well-proportioned candlesticks, which are compositions of her unique signature pearl and block shaped designs.
Each candlestick begins as hand-sculpted components which are used to create moulds in different sizes. These highly original, eye-catching candlesticks come in different sizes depending on the number of blocks.
The candlesticks are cast in bio-resin with 30% recycled components and Jesmonite mixed with pigment at the start of the process, to ensure color consistency. Some of the candlesticks are subtly finished with hand painted gold patina to reflect the shimmer of the candle. Each one is made with a solid brass drip catcher and can be cast in a variety of colors.
Working from her studio in London, as well as candlesticks, Margit creates artistic lighting...

18th Century Six Italian Gilded Wall Cadleholders Set of Six Foliate Sconces
Located in Milano, MI
From Northern Italy a rare set of six 18th century gilt wrought iron arms, candle holders, hanging lantern brackets suitable as sconces, if you wire them. These iron arms are fully handmade with curved scrolling iron structure, decorated with elegant gilt wrought iron acanthus leaves and gildwood balls and bobeches..
Good age related condition, the six arms have the same shape and structure but slightly different sizes, with minor losses, missing giltwood balls in four of item. The gilding of the arms is in good condition, excellent feature in case of their use as sconces, overturning the irons compared to their original use. Some small lacks in the leaves of the crowns of the bobeches, as visible in the picture details. Northern Italy, 1700.
Originally these Italian artworks were arms that, fixed in a ring placed on the wall, were used to hold the chains of votive lamps...

Komerobi, in Japanese, means: " the sunlight that passes through the leaves of the trees ". This cup by its extremely clean design is a reminder of the zen essentiality and the use of the cup for its most sacred purpose during ceremonies. Featuring a wooden wick, that enables the flame to expand itself also horizontally and with a sound reminding the crackle of the fire. Citrus top notes mixed with Ginger, Almond, and Spices heart notes give this fragrance an irresistible appeal. A black burnt Raku band and its raku crackle...
