About the Item

An English ormolu horseshoe clock in the manner of Thomas Cole. Small 3/4 plate movement with dust covers to rear for wind, adjust and regulate. Fine original silvered bronze dial with engine turned decoration. 8 blue enamel "nails" in perfect original condition. Original blued steel hands. In original leather box, which is signed for the retailers 'John J. Peters & Co. Late Chas. Taylor & Son, Jewllers Diamond Setters & Silversmiths, 40 Colledge Green, Bristol'.
