Tall case clock, Deco. The circular dial with classic Roman numerals is set into the top of the cabinet, slightly arched, giving it a touch of softness within the sobriety of the whole. The case is marked by a central glazing that allows a glimpse of the brass pendulum, bringing lightness to the piece and suggesting the internal movement of time. The robust base supports the slender body of the piece, emphasising its verticality and imposing presence.
