About the Item

Tall case clock, Daniel Bing. Vertically imposing and classically refined, the watch is made of warm-toned wood, with straight, simple lines on the body, contrasting with the elaborate upper part where the dial is located. The dial is circular, with Roman numerals on a gold ring decorated with arabesques. The upper part of the capital features three pinnacles, the central one topped by a small eagle figure, giving the piece a decorative and imposing touch. The front door gives access to the interior where the weights and pendulum are housed, both functional and aesthetic elements of the original mechanism. This type of clock is generally associated with the 18th and 19th centuries and represents a symbol of status and precision.
