Antique Mahogany Wood Longcase Clock "William Fullerton"

About the Item

Outstanding craftsmanship and beautifully crafted in mahogany and features numerous details that make this a desirable timepiece. From the hand carved decorated top pediment with its clean line mahogany wood supports to the satinwood inlaid decoration , the workmanship is astounding. The breakarch is painted depicting "The intended Husband while the four seasons are represented in each corner below". The clock is beautifully executed and handsomely painted face with its interior scene decoration. Structurally sound piece of furniture, of excellent proportion. Despite its age the caseclock is in good antique condition with some signs of wear appropriate with wear and use. It measures 88 inches high x 28 inches wide x 11 inches deep.
