Circa 1830 English Georgian Tall Case Clock

About the Item

Circa 1830 Georgian tall case clock. Gothic waist panel & boldly reeded square pilasters, partially stopped by ebony line inlays. Exceptional choice of mahogany veneers & solids. Broken arch pediment with carved rondels. Double crown molding, the back molding appearing as the temple behind the pediment. Face completely original with a "moon" dial featuring a ship of the line in full sail. Each corner with a still colorful set of paintwork shells. Runs wells. 89" h., 11 /8" d., 26" w.
