The well proportioned bell-top ebonized case is surmounted by a cast brass carrying handle and four pine cone finials. The 6 inch signed, brass dial has twin subsidiary dials for strike or silent and for slow or fast regulation. There are mock pendulum and date apertures within the matted centre of the dial. The five pillar fusee movement has an engraved, signed backplate with verge escapement...
