A fine 19th century Louis XIV style ormolu and brass Boulle style mantel clock, in the manner of Martinot of Paris, the eight day movement striking the half hours on a bell, with key, fronted by a cast brass dial decorated in bas relief with a cherub mask, an angel and beast heads amidst foliate Arabesques, the chapter ring with black and white enamel Roman cushion numerals, above an arcaded architectural panel, the caddy top case with scrolling foliate decoration in the manner of Andre Charles Boulle, eight flame finials and caryatid and acanthus leaf mounts, on toupie feet, Circa 1860 France H: 24 1/2 in / 62 cm ; W: 14 in 35.5 cm ; D: 6 1/2 in / 16.5 cm
