About the Item
A very fine and most attractive 19th century French Louis XV Rococo Style ormolu and porcelain mantle clock, modelled as an urn with floral finial and goat head masks to the sides, on a plinth base with a pair of figures, the white enamelled dial with Roman numerals and Arabic minute markers, inscribed "Tessier , Rue St Honore, 362 Paris", the twin barrel movement with outside countwheel striking on a bell.
