About the Item

A very good quality 19th century French gilded ormolu and Sevres style porcelain mantel clock. Having a blue porcelain urn to the top with ormolu swags, scrolling gilded ormolu foliate mounts, porcelain inset panels with gilded motif decoration. The eight day duration, chiming movement with a classical painted scene to the centre of the clock face. Raised on a stepped porcelain and ormolu base.
