About the Item
In the 1930's Smiths Sectric produced a range of high end electric clocks with a distinctly Art Deco feel to them. This handsome chap is a surviving example, in a gorgeous colbolt blue colouring. The number dial is chrome, as are the hands, feet & base. He is virtually silent, and keeps remarkably good time. This clock is an absolute delight. This glamorous clock features a chrome bezel with fretted out numerals and a mirrored blue glass dial. The clock as with all our clocks are fully tested and restored by our horologist so comes to you in full working order. Runs on electric so no ticking sounds or winding required.
Condition is as good as one could expect from something nearing 90 years old. A brand new blue twisted fabric 2 core electric cable, and a matching blue plug have been added. For US customers we will send an adaptor so you won't need to rewire the clock.
