Deniere Gilt Bronze Mantle Clock in the Louis XVI taste. The case Jean Francois/ Guillaume Diniere (French 1820-1901) circa 1870, finely cast gilt bronze and marble mantle clock in the Louis XVI taste, surmounted by a ribbon tied quiver & torch. The case is decorated with swirling florals, the enameled dial with polychromed floral swags and Arabic numerals. The base with bundled Acanthus garlands and rising on toupie feet. The dial marked “Deniere/FT de Bronzes” and Paris, the mechanism stamped JX Deniere A Paris. Dimensions: Height 18" Width 9 1/2" Depth 6 1/2" CW5180
