Elegant inlaid mahogany mantle clock by Wray, Son & Perry c.1900
Fine small antique Victorian mantle clock
Wray, Son & Perry 38 New Street, Birmingham.
Mahogany clock with satinwood & ebony inlay.
The upper clock of shield form, inset with movement.
Original glass protecting dial. Brass bezel surround. Enamel dial with Roman numerals and blued steel hands. Makers mark to dial.
Lower section of rectangular form with further delicate inlay. Carried on brass bun feet.
Width: 23 cm.
Depth: 8.5 cm.
Height: 22.5 cm.
To the reverse, the brass backplate pulls off the reveal the original cylinder movement. Fully working and happily ticking. Original clock key present.
