A wonderfully impressive and enchanting French Empire period mantel clock by Jean-Antoine Lépine (1720-1814), clockmaker to both King Louis XV and Louis XVI Depicting a pair of Leopards pulling a putti eating grapes seated on a barrel draped in vine leaves perched on a wagon.
