About the Item

A fine quality and rare, Japanese Meiji period (1868-1912) Signed Miyao bronze mantel clock. Having a charming drummer boy above a drum like surround to the clock, with scrolling foliate gilded decoration, mythical dragons and faux dogs. Raised on a tripod base, again decorated in wonderful gilded highlighted detail. Batch 66 60227 UNKZKK.
