French Art Deco Mantel Clock Set by Limousin, 1920s
About the Item
French Art Deco mantel clock set in the Süe & Mare style by Limousin, France, 1920s. Spelter, marble, bronze and brass. Clockmaker: E.Brondeau (Limoges). Sculptor: G.Limousin. "E.Brondeau Limoges" on the dial. Signed "G.Limousin" and marked "France" on the metal base. Measures: The clock - Height 12"(30.5cm), width 18.7"(47.5cm), depth 7.1"(18cm). Each urn - Height 10.4"(26.5cm), diameter 4.5"(11.5cm). Original Parisian movement recently cleaned. Comes with its key and pendulum. Very fine condition with few small bites on the marble.
