French Empire/CharlesX pendulum mantel clock

About the Item

This is a beautiful French Empire/Charles X mantelpiece/pendulum from circa 1820 that is both unusual and charming. It features a lovely depiction of Cupido playing the harp on the back of a realistic-looking lion, creating a striking contrast with the gilded clock and nicely patinated lion.
