A very good quality 19th century French gilded ormolu and bronze Louis XVI style mantel (fireplace) clock, have cloven hoofed putti supporting the clock, with Bacchus influenced decoration around and to the panel in the center. The white enameled clock face, with an eight day duration movement, strikes on the hour and half hour. Paris makers name: Fasteau.
