About the Item

An elegant French neo-classical st. Sèvres Bisque clock signed Guyon a Lyon ( Jean Baptiste Guyon). The clock is raised by ormolu supports below the oval base with a chased ormolu front band with all original gilt. Above is a sitting maiden in classical attire gazing at her reflection in a hand held mirror. On her left is a seated goat and at the right is a floral bush. The original enamel dial is below the figure fitted in an ormolu band.
