French Style Falling Gravity Driven Bronze Industrial Elevator Industrial Clock

About the Item

French Style Gravity Driven Industrial Elevator Industrial Clock w Marble Base Here we have a wonderful example of the industrial series popular in French horology. This clock is driven by its own weight as it slows falls downwards on the 4 posts. It's in an elegant form to reflect industrial period elevator. And it's mounted on a heavy black marble base. You can read the time clearly on a white porcelain dial with contrast black Roman numerals. At the end of the running period, simply push the clock up to reset it. The entire clock is made of brass in both brushed and stained finished. This complete clock measures 21-1/2" tall, 12" wide and 8" deep. This clock is in good working order. It has been crafted from red marble and green onyx and decorated with gilt bronze and champlevé enamel.
