Large 19th Century Carved Black Forest Mantel Clock

A Large Black Forest Mantle Clock Constructed in carved linden wood, fitted with a two train eight day striking clock; mounted on a shaped serpentine base, with a moulded edge, the naturalistic ground of rockwork, tree branches, leafage and berries incorporate two dog retrievers and the day’s bag; the huntsman, dressed for stalking, surveying the scene, surmounts the clock.
