Late 19th Century French Beautifully Ornate Brass Freestanding Mantel Clock
About the Item
An ornately decorated French brass mantel clock from the turn of the 19th and 20th century. This antique French clock is exquisitely decorated on all sides, it has an overall scrolling foliage, acanthus leaf, and urn motif, with a pair of winged mythical creatures flanking each side of the elaborate top. There is a face molded at the top front, a lion's head at bottom front, and two mythical creature heads at either far rear side. This French clock, circa 1880s-1920s, is shallow in depth as to fit easily upon a mantle or bookshelf, and make a lovely decorative addition to your home. This clock is not currently in working condition.
