Late 19th Century French Rouge Marble Four Glass Clock Set

About the Item

Late 19th century French clock set, the architectural marble case surmounted with a gilt metal lion, above four gilt embellished Corinthian columns. The case fitted with four glass panels enclosing the enameled dial with a gilt metal centre, enclosing the two train movement striking on a coil above the twin canister pendulum, upon the integrated stepped plinth base on cast gilt circular feet. Together with a pair of conforming rouge marble and ormolu mounted twin handled urn-shaped garnitures. Measures: Clock Height 20.5 inches Width 14.5 inches Depth 7 inches Garnitures Height 14.5 inches Width 6.5 inches Depth 4.5 inches.
