About the Item
A very good quality 19th Century French Louis XVI style Boulle mantel clock, having Father Time perched above the brass inlaid dome, scrolling foliate ormolu mounts, white enamel Roman numerals to the eight day duration movement, striking on the hour and half hour, gilded ormolu monopodia mounts to each corner, a sun burst pendulum and raised on scrolling gilded feet.
