Empire pendulum clock Depicting Virgil,an ancient Roman poet of the Augustan period.He has been traditionally ranked as one of Rome's greatest poets. His Aeneid is also considered a national epic of ancient Rome, a title held since composition.The base of the clock is made of malachite, the sculpture sitting on it depicts the poet with text Les Geòrgiques L'eneide.
