Centered enamel dial signed Mannheim A Paris with foliate pierced and engraved hands, framed by elegant fronds tied with a large, elaborate bow, topped with trophies beneath an impressive dore bronze ornate urn filled with roses and elongated garlands held by scantily clad patinated bronze putti atop a gilt bronze mounted shaped Carrara marble base on six circular gilt bronze feet. With pendulum (silk suspension) and key.
This clock is of exceptionally fine quality with burnished gold and hand chiseled details, beautifully proportioned and of unusually large size. In good working order, professionally serviced by a top London specialist. Chimes on the hour and half hour.
