Rare 20th Century Art Deco Mantel Clock with Adjacent Lamps

About the Item

A rare and magnificent Art Deco mantel pendulum clock with side-by-side lights. The case and base are covered in an exotic wood veneer which is typical of French Art Deco designers and manufacturers. It is highlighted with brass trim. The face features a splendid artistic arrangement of stylish Arabic numerals in chrome. Flanking each side of the clock is a brass cone with glass protruding inserts. Inside each cone is a light providing warm ambient lighting upwards towards the wall and ceiling. It also illuminates the glass inserts. Comes with a key to wind the clock. Signed on the back “IDÉAL - FRANCE”. The clock is in excellent condition. DIMENSIONS: Width: 37.25 in. (94.6 cm.)
