Enamel dial with Roman numerals and original 'blued' steel hands.
Eight day French movement with platform escapement signed ‘Maple & Co Ltd, Paris’ and numbered 589, circa 1890
‘Watchmakers and clockmakers of the world’ by Brian Loomes lists Maple & Co Ltd as working in both Paris and London from 1880-1905.
