This late 20th-century Chelsea Ship-Strike Bell Clock is a finely crafted maritime timepiece, made by the renowned Chelsea Clock Company, Boston, USA, circa 1970. Designed in the period style, this clock exemplifies the precision and quality associated with Chelsea’s legacy in nautical timekeeping. The clock and accompanying barometer, both set in solid mahogany wood with polished brass casings, showcase exceptional craftsmanship. Each piece is clearly signed "Chelsea" at the bottom of their respective faces, with "Boston, Made in U.S.A." elegantly inscribed at the top. The ship-strike mechanism chimes the watch system used at sea, adding to its authenticity and appeal. Markings: "Chelsea" at the bottom of the clock and barometer faces; "Boston, Made in U.S.A." at the top. Great antique condition, with minor wear consistent with age
