It will chime the minute, demand by sliding the lever on the back. The agate stone frame is custom made in our own workshops. It takes as many as fifteen different craftsmen to produce one and it takes 12 months to finish. Holding it up to the light is a delight. it is as beautiful from the front, as it is from behind. Beautiful things should be viewed from all angles. This impressive clock looks great on a desk whether it faces you or the other person seated at your desk.

Replacements made: This is a Hybrid Clock. The clock and case date from the 1910's/20's while the agate stone outer frame was handmade in our own workshop within the last few years. Our team of master craftsmen and women produced it and it takes over a year to finish. Wear consistent with age and use. It is worth noting that this clock only had a 12-month warranty when it was new. However, we are so confident of our workmanship and team that we offer an 18-month warranty on all our clocks, even those over 100 years old.

Wooden Mantel Clock Vincenti et Cie Late 19th century The mechanism is marked "Vincenti et Cie, Médaille d'Argent 1855, Made in France." Vincenti et Cie, established in 1823 by Jean Vincenti in Montbéliard, was revitalized by Albert Roux in 1829, who expanded and innovated the company. Under Roux's leadership, the firm continued its Montbéliard operations and opened a store in Paris in 1850 on Rue d'Anjou in the Marais.
