About the Item

Exceptional presentation of a beautiful bronze sitting on top of a plateau of griotte marble, 19th century. The clock face is enamel with floral and foliate paintings surrounding the numeral. Bronze doré mounts decorate this lovely base. Toupee feet support the clock. The bronze which stands on top is by Charles Anfrie and is signed on the base, 1833-1905. The bronze is titled “Esperance”. Clock has key and pendulum.
