A charming miniature 19th century French gilt bronze patinated and Rouge marble clock cast with a blindfolded Cupid figure wielding a torch and drum mallet prepared to strike a drum-form clock, the circular white enamel dial with Roman hours and Arabic minutes. The clock tilts back to reveal a concealed glass inkwell and reserve, above a rouge marble base. The dial signed: Gleizes, 240 Rue De Rivoli, Paris Height: 6" (15 cm) Width: 6.25" (16 cm) Depth: 4" (10 cm)
