Snider Clock Lamp Atomic Age Masterpiece! With the "Iconic Golden Glow" Incredible Mid Century Design! Dimensions: Approximately 12" By 7.5 by 7.5 This Snider Clock is one of the most coveted mid century clocks in the world! More desirable than the oft-imitated George Nelson ball clock or any other design, this Snider truly encapsulates all that was good and creative about the mid century modern furnishings movement! This design captures all the futuristic elements that conveyed modernism to the clock buyer of 1957. Grilles that illuminate, "swept-wing" styling that was also now found on 1957 Chrysler vehicles and fiberglass - a postwar "miracle" product that allowed for flexibility and color infusion into glass! It sits on a tripod base allowing to "float" over the surface This design looks so cool, one stays longer wherever it is, just to be in its presence. At night time, owners place it somewhere they can enjoy its "iconic golden glow" dual lamps, Besides being cooler than any mid century clock, these Sniders are perhaps the rarest mid century clocks in the world.
